Are you licensed?
Yes, our property managers are licensed Realtors in the Commonwealth of Virginia. -
Can you put the money directly into my account?
Your owner distribution payment is made by direct deposit into your account. -
Do I get to see the lease or sign it?
As your agent, RVA Property Management signs all of the lease documents on your behalf. A copy of the lease will be available to you through your owner portal. -
Do you sell real estate too?
Yes, we offer sales services exclusively to our owner clients. We can help you purchase another investment property, or sell your current property when the time is right. -
How soon can you start managing my property?
We can start immediately, please contact us at your convenience. -
Do I have to pay a management fee if my property is vacant?
No. We believe we should only be paid if you get paid. Therefore, our management fee is a percentage of the actual rent we collect. If we do not collect any rent, or if the property is vacant, you do not pay us anything. -
What type of properties do you manage?
RVA Property Management manages single family, multifamily, and commercial properties. -
What type of reports do I get and how often?
An owner statement is shared with you once a month along with a year-end income and expense report on your owner portal. Our owners have 24/7 access to their financial reports. -
Who holds the tenant security deposit?
RVA Property Management holds all tenant security deposits.
